Tomboy Magazine & Lick A Lotta Fest would like to announce Hersband & Wife’s 50 state marriage equality tour.

Atlanta, GA, October 31, 2009 – November 1, 2009:  The Hersband and Wife Marriage Equality Tour will kick off on October 31, 2009 from Atlanta GA Pride celebration. Hersband & Wife will have a marriage ceremony at 5pm followed by a short speech discussing the importance of marriage equality. Marriage equality is gaining ground in the United States, with an extreme grass root support. We as Hersband & Wife have always been in the forefront of the marriage equality fight; we will be taking it a step further with a marriage equality tour. The plan is to tour the entire United States over a twelve month period, having a marriage ceremony in every state visited. (Legal or Symbolic) inviting the entire GLBT community to attend the ceremony and have marriages of their own if they wish. All subsequent dates, times and locations will be announced on our website via an interactive state by state map and passed out at each of the 50 wedding ceremonies.
